The Caribbean is made up of more than 7000 islands which are located between the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea. They run from Florida to Venezuela. When cruising the Caribbean you can choose between Western and Eastern cruises. The main Western ports/cities include: Belize, Jamaica, Mexico and the Cayman Islands. The main Eastern ports/cities include: US Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, St Maarten, Bahamas, St Thomas, Turk Islands and Puerto Rico.

Weather:
While the climate and geography in the Caribbean varies, it is generally a tropical climate with year-round sunshine, although the 2nd half of the year tends to wetter than the first half. Beware of the hurricanes that do occasionally batter the region between Jun – Nov (mainly June and October).
